The EScon FieldPac™ provides a revolutionary
method of moving massive amounts of data between sites.
Initially designed for collecting field data
and transporting to data centres, the FieldPac™ is providing
solutions in many diverse markets including seismic research,
the music and movie industry and video security.
Unique Features
The FieldPac™ contains many features unique
to the storage industry, including a proprietory drive connection
system capable of many thousand insertion and removal cycles
and an advanced power management system.
The system provides an easy method of moving
up to 12 TeraBytes of data in a robust flight case weighing
less than 20kg.
Standard and Custom Versions
The FieldPac™ is avialable as a commercial off
the shelf (COTS) system, or in customised versions.
